This policy explains how the Blog Magazine app for Wix ("Blog Magazine", "the app") handles information. Blog Magazine is made by AK Digital (Anna Kheifets), Israel ("we", "us"). Contact: support@ak-digital.com.
What Blog Magazine is
Blog Magazine shows the posts of a site's Wix Blog in magazine layouts, and adds Read next and reading progress to blog post pages. It runs inside Wix: the design settings are saved in the owner's Wix site, and the layouts are built in the visitor's browser from the site's published blog posts.
Information we process
Site owners (the people who install Blog Magazine)
The design settings you choose in the editor (layout, theme, photo style, fonts, magazine name, cover story options). They are stored in your Wix site, not on our own servers.
Your plan information (free or paid) and app instance identifiers, which Wix provides so the right features are turned on. Payments are processed by Wix; we never see your payment details.
The app reads your site's published blog posts, categories and view counts in order to display them. It does not change your posts.
Visitors of a site that uses Blog Magazine
Blog Magazine does not collect, store or send personal information about visitors to us. It does not use cookies, tracking pixels or analytics.
When the "Pick up where you left off" option is on (Pro), the visitor's own browser remembers which stories they opened (story IDs and times) in its browser storage, only on that device, so the magazine can offer to continue reading. This information never leaves the browser, and the visitor can clear it with their browser settings.
To work quickly, the app also keeps two technical values in the browser's session storage for that tab only: the site's plan (free or Pro) and whether the visitor closed the "Pick up where you left off" message. They contain no personal information. The "Pick up where you left off" option stays off for visitors who declined functional cookies in the site's cookie banner.
Fonts are served from the app's own host on Wix, not from Google Fonts.
How we use information
Only to provide the app's features. We do not sell or share information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where information is stored
Blog Magazine is hosted by Wix. Settings live in your Wix site and are covered by Wix's own security and privacy practices (https://www.wix.com/about/privacy). We keep no separate database of owners or visitors.
Retention and deletion
Your settings stay in your site while Blog Magazine is installed. When you remove the app, Wix removes the app and its settings from your site. You can contact us at any time about your information.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the Israeli Privacy Protection Law), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information. Write to support@ak-digital.com and we will reply within 30 days.
Children
Blog Magazine is a tool for site owners and is not directed to children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. Important changes may also be shown in the app.
