Product Image Zoom & Gallery - Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 7, 2026
This policy explains how the Product Image Zoom & Gallery app for Wix ("the app") handles information. The app is made by AK Digital (Anna Kheifets), Israel ("we", "us"). Contact: support@ak-digital.com.
What the app is
The app adds a full-screen photo viewer to the product pages of a Wix Stores site, and a dashboard where the store owner scores and improves product photos. It runs inside Wix, and its data is stored in the owner's Wix site.
Information we process
Store owners (the people who install the app)
What you set up per product: size notes, real product size, extra photos, model height and size per photo, "shop the look" points, and customer photos with the first name, height, size and fit you enter. This is stored in your Wix site's app collections, not on our own servers.
The app reads your products, product photos and photo descriptions to show them and score them, and writes photo descriptions and photo order to your products only when you click the matching button.
Your plan information (free or paid) and app instance identifiers, which Wix provides so the right features are turned on. Payments are processed by Wix; we never see your payment details.
Customer photos you add
Only add a customer's photo, first name, height or size if that customer agreed to it. You can remove a customer photo at any time in the dashboard; it is then no longer shown.
Shoppers visiting a store that uses the app
The app counts how shoppers use the photo viewer: product page visits, full-screen opens, and for each photo how often it was shown, zoomed and for how long. These are anonymous totals per product. They contain no names, no IP addresses, no device or account identifiers, and the app sets no cookies and uses no tracking pixels.
If a shopper uses "Like me", the height they choose is remembered only in their own browser storage on that device, so the viewer can use it next time. It never leaves the browser, and the shopper can clear it with their browser settings.
A "share this detail" link only contains the photo number and zoom position.
How we use information
Only to provide the app's features, including the photo insights shown to the store owner. We do not sell or share information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where information is stored
The app is hosted by Wix. Settings and counts live in your Wix site and are covered by Wix's own security and privacy practices (https://www.wix.com/about/privacy). We keep no separate database of owners or shoppers.
Retention and deletion
Your settings and counts stay in your site while the app is installed. You can restart the photo counts for any product in the dashboard. When you remove the app, Wix removes the app and its data from your site. You can contact us at any time about your information.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the Israeli Privacy Protection Law), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information. Write to support@ak-digital.com and we will reply within 30 days.
Children
The app is a tool for store owners and is not directed to children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. Important changes may also be shown in the app.
